About

An independent newsroom that shows the receipts

We correct the spin with facts, charts, and citations - and we put our name behind every word.

Pixel Politics is an independent, reader-funded newsroom. We pair deep-dive Corrections with a broader news wire, and our standard never changes: every claim cited, every original archived, every verdict shown. The goal is an honest, correct public record that other newsrooms and creators can quote without risk.

Who publishes this

Pixel Politics is published by Arctos Media, a small independent company. There is a named, accountable editor behind the standard, and we are transparent about how the work is made - see how we work and our methodology.

No ads. No sponsors. No trackers. Ever.

We carry no advertising and take no sponsorships, so the only people we answer to are readers. Reading the site sets no cookies and needs no consent banner, because we do not track you. The only asks are support and a follow.

What we are not

  • Not a team's press shop. We correct our own side when the facts demand it.
  • Not conspiracy theorists. We do not trade one set of fairy tales for another.
  • Not cruel. We go after lies and abuses of power, not private citizens.

The desks

Madeline Vance, Marcus Bell, Mark Sullivan, Priya Nair, Elena Ruiz, Aisha Bello, Theo Bauer, Grace Okonkwo, Sam Calder, Naomi Okafor and more. When we get something wrong, it goes in the public corrections log.
