How Pixel Politics works
Real people, a real company, a real standard. Transparency is the entire point of us.
Pixel Politics is published by Arctos Media, a real, independent company run by real people who put their name behind every story. We are transparent about how we operate, because transparency is the entire point of us.
We use modern tools, including AI, to help us gather sources, draft, and build the charts and data you see. We do not hide that. But the tools do not set our standard; our standard does. Every article that publishes here clears the same bar, no matter how a first draft began:
- Every factual claim is backed by a linked, primary source.
- Every original we rebut is screenshotted and archived, so it cannot be quietly deleted.
- Every fact-check carries a visible verdict, reached by the criteria on our methodology page.
- Reporting and opinion are clearly labeled.
- A person reviews the work, and Arctos Media stands behind it, before it publishes.
"AI slop" is unsourced, unchecked content churned out to fill space. That is the opposite of what we do. We would rather be slow and right than fast and wrong, and when we get something wrong we correct it in public and log it.
You never have to take our word for it: the sources are on the page, the originals are archived, and the standard is right here. Check our work. That is the deal.
