We correct in public. When we get something wrong, it is fixed, dated, and listed here.
Our policy
- We fix genuine factual errors promptly and label the change.
- Significant errors get a correction at the top of the piece; minor ones a footnote.
- We never silently edit a substantive claim.
- We correct accurate, sourced reporting only if the reporting was actually wrong - never because someone with power is unhappy. See our methodology.
